thankful thursday

Thursday is here again and it is the right time to be thankful. This week I wanted to write about the things I am most grateful of.

I feel grateful that despite of our loss, our family realized that we are still one. Everyone was grieving with the death of our grandfather but because of this we learned to value all his sacrifices and teachings. We learned more about our grandfather through the people around him, people that he worked with and people whom he was with most of the time. Tatang as we fondly call him, is a responsible person who is always in look-out for people who he could help along the way.

Now that he is with God our Father, we know that he will still guide us and watch over us.

What a legacy it sounds like he left. Truly something to be grateful for!

I am so sorry for your loss, but am rejoicing that your grandfather has left such wonderful memories and legacy for all of you. Thank you for sharing your grateful heart with us today, even in the midst of your sorrow!

I'm sorry for your loss ... you and your family are in my thoughts.

I find it so remarkable that a loved one can give a final gift that lasts forever--the getting together of family and friends to reminisce and share stories and especially love.

Be well :-)
