taking an online degree

The other week, I was encouraging G to enroll again this coming semester for his post-grad studies. He already started this a couple of years ago but he had to stop because of his work schedule. This is because there are times when his work requires him to work on weekends. So when I was surfing in the Internet for possible options, I found out about Capella University (www.capella.edu). This is an online school that offers graduate degree programs in information technology. (G has a degree in computer science). IT is just one of the 101 graduate programs that is offered here; other programs include public safety, business and health. Currently, there are almost 20,000 students enrolled. One of these is Teresa Chaulk, who is taking up her doctorate in adult learning. She is the superintendent of Wyoming school district. When she was interviewed regarding her new post, she said that she is very happy helping her community and to further improve herself, she is currently pursuing her PhD from Capella University. Despite working full-time, she can still catch up with the lessons becuase it is an online school. Their online degree programs are really helping her and other students out there who wants to study but do not have a lot of free time.
