We are already on our 11th week of pregnancy and until now, I still don't have any pregnant picture (thanks to Manang J for reminding me :). Actually, I am thinking of having one but I feel so ugly these days. I am more conscious of how I look. Pimples have been growing not only on my face but also at my back. I read that this is brought about by the hormones in my body. I hope that by the end of July, I will already feel more confident in having my pictures. By this time, my mareng Sheng will be home and I asked her if she can take my pregnancy photos for remembrance.

Are you deeply in love with your spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend? If you do, let's try how well you remember the moment of your life with him. But before you put yourself in the hot seat please read the rules of this tag first.
RULES:
1. This tag should be pass on to your friends.
2. Visit the blog of the person you've got this tag.
3. Leave a comment on her/his tag post. Be sure to thank her/him for this tag.
4. Highlight and link all the list of people who accepted this tag by visiting their blog site.
5. There are 10 questions that you need to answer but you will be the one to write the 10th question for the next person you want to pass this tag.
Here are the questions. Be honest with your answers.
1. How did you meet your husband/wife or boyfriend/girlfriend?
I met him through text... he was a college barkada of my high school barkada. We first met, after a year of texting/calling in Baguio for the Panagbenga.
2. Where did you go on your first date?
Sizzling Plate in Baguio but just for dinner since we walked from Session Rd to St. Joseph Parish in Pacdal. Another 'first date' was at the Barge... corny :p
3. When was your first intimate kiss?
At the airport... before I flew for Taiwan. That was April 12, 2002
4. How many girlfriends/boyfriends he/she had in the past? Do you honestly know?
Secret namin... but he said to answer that its less than 30 :)
5. What is his/her ethnicity?
Filipino
6. What is his/her favorite food?
Sinigang... kahit ano.
7. What is he/she like if he/she is mad?
He cries when he is really mad and he can't let go of how he is feeling.
8. What are the things he/she did you thought is the most romantic thing he'd/she'd ever done?
He is more romantic now that I am pregnant. During the times when I was on bed rest, he does all chores. He wakes up really early, cooks our breakfast, does the household chores, bring food to the room, etc. I feel so pampered and well-taken cared of.
9. Describe how he/you proposed to you.
It was a simple proposal. What made it romantic for me was 'he was crying in front of me, asking me to marry him'. Btw, he traveled 10 hours going to Isabela on his own. The bus that he rode took a different route which he is not familiar at all. He even searched for our house, since it was his first time to go there.
10. What do you usually do on your dates?
We walk and eat :) we bond by walking and then eating after.
I really love this tag. It makes me ponder of the past and of my dear G :)
I pass this tag to friends like Rocks, Milet and Rhia

stat...
Stat is medical term for ASAP. I am familiar with this because I always hear this term from my sister as well as nurse cousins, who are working in the hospital. They use this whenever they need to take action immediately. These days, stat is not only applicable to actions but also to the doctors' knowledge on certain medical concepts. This is made possible by the newest gadgets that these healthcare practitioners use in their daily activities. These days, most doctors already have a smartphone or a PDA which has a PDA medical software that they can consult anytime they need to check on certain drug information such as its dosage, side effects. They will no longer have to go to another room just to browse on their books. All the information that they needed are present stat. I agree that this is an important software which is distributed by Epocrates, Inc.

laziness strikes me
I haven't been updating this site because of one reason. Laziness... Sluggishness. I know that you understand that this is very typical of a pregnant woman (I still feel 'heaven' calling myself pregnant). After a couple of weeks on bedrest, I am still one sleepyhead. I still wake up early to prepare and join G for breakfast. I also wait to see him go off for work but after that I hit the bed again. I wake up at around 10am, just in time for another meal. After we eat our lunch, I get to take a nap again :) See how my schedule works these days? I'm just glad that I haven't experienced V moments yet. I still eat a lot and now I look really big already. My tummy doesn't look like its only on its 8 week but much older and bigger. I just hope that everything's better with the baby... and that I won't have to reduce on my next trimester.

sharing your space
A friend of mine who used to work as a nurse in UK transferred to the US last year. She was very glad because she was able to find a place to stay immediately. She found her roommate through roomster.net. This is a site that offers help to individuals who are looking for a place to stay. It can be a room, a pad or even a condo. You can also choose your room mate with the use of the different categories like according to the place that you wanted, whether it is furnished or not, with girls only or with guys only, etc.
Now that her former roommate got married and move out already, she posted an ad through the site to look for her new roommate. I hope she finds one soon. She gets really lonely now and she feels really alone.

it is IT
I am confirming this post. To everyone who dropped by and gave comments on what I have written, thank you very much for taking your time. The OB confirmed it yesterday. She said that I am about 6 weeks pregnant but the ultrasound says I'm on my 4th week. I have to have bed rest for two weeks because they saw subchronic hemorrage on the ultrasound result. Though this is normal for most pregnancies, the OB just wanted to be sure that I am safe because this is a much-awaited pregnancy. She doesn't want to take any risk at all.
To everyone, thank you and please continue praying for our safe pregnancy. To my TTC friends, don't loose that faith. Your gifts are on its way too, just keep the faith.
I may not be able to write as often as I could or bloghop to your sites but I'll make up when I get better. Please include us in your prayers. God bless.

silver investment
Last Tuesday, my friend and I were talking about how her sister Eli earned through mutual funds. Eli started investing only last year but as of this time, her investment already doubled. She invested her earnings again, hoping to earn more. Our discussion then went to different ways to invest our money. I told her about bullions in forms of gold and silver. Aside from these, coins are also possible forms of investments. When she checked the site of Monex, she was convinced that it is indeed a great investment. She began searching for prices for gold and silver so that she can compare it with the list given to by Monex. She found out that the silver price is very competitive. With the increase in demand of these precious metals, now is the best time to buy these. She also learned that if you are interested, Monex can even have it delivered at your banks. She is really convinced. She already contacted Monex for her first investment.

entrecard droppers' list
As I wrote in my other blog, Entrecard has helped me ALOT, in terms of increasing my traffic and Alexa Ranking. Because of this, I am more inspired to drop cards everyday. Since it is very time consuming and there are even times when I forget who must be prioritized, I thought of making my own list for it.
To start with, I will check on every sites on my blogroll who are already with Entrecard as well. I'll list them and create a folder for it on my bookmark page. Every time I get the chance to drop cards, they will be the first in my list.
For everyone who has ecards on their sites, please check for my list if I am able to add your sites already. From time to time, I will update it here. For those who are NOT on my list but would like me to dropped my card on their inboxes, feel free to comment on this entry so that I can add your sites as well.
I will initially start with 100-150 sites, depending on the response. I hope to hear from everyone :)
By the way, I have three sites with entrecard widgets, that means I will drop using my two sites (and another one, G's site). These are:

neglected blog
Ever since I started to have my domain blog, I was more into writing more there rather than here. This is because big G gives more chances for domains rather than free sites (I think!) to gain higher fi-ars (I think, again)... but then since this has been my first baby, I thought that I should give it the same attention.
From now on, you'll be able to read posts here often... and since I've been receiving several tags, I might as well start now... hope to see you around everyone!

Obando Festival
Last Satuday, we were finally able to join the Obando Festival. Despite the reports on typhoon Cosme we still pushed through.
After several years of being married and trying to conceive, we have been thinking of joining the festival. Last yea we were supposed to go but we didn't know where and how to go to Obando then (or maybe, we lacked the faith). So this year, as early as January we already marked our calendar for this date. I started researching about it as early as April. I checked different sites for any information that I can get. There is one site which is interactive wherein you can ask questions and someone from Obando answers it. In previous discussions, the directions on how to go to Obando was already given. There was even one discussion wherein the price fare for each PUV is also given out... so I just copied and pasted it. A couple of weeks before the event, I asked my yahoogroup regarding traditions, etc that needs to be done when we get there. So far, there were some who joined the events previously who shared their ideas.
This is what happened on the day itself...
Next year, with or without our baby, we will still go back and join again. It is a happy event that everyone should join. I believe in the power of prayers and in due time, our greatest gift will be given to us.

a mommy post
A couple of Sundays ago, most countries around the world celebrated Mother's Day. On this day, mothers received different types, kinds and sizes of gifts from their children. There are those that received flowers, there were also those who got more personal gifts. On the other hand, mothers who have elder children who can afford to splurge on more expensive gifts gave them mommy makeover. There are children or even husbands who save for this event to give what they think are best for their mothers.
One of the favorite make over, which is very common for women, is the
If we find a reliable (and not to expensive) cosmetic surgeon to do this procedure, we would also want our mom to have this type of makeover. We wanted her to look and feel young again. We know that this will help her a lot in gaining her self-confidence. For this year, we just sent mommy messages and made phone calls to her on her special day. They (mom & dad) went out for any early lunch after they went to mass. She also received a bunch of flowers from dad.
